Midnight Munchies & After-Hours Adventures

Image
SLO Downtown Farmers Market (Photo/Rachel Welch)  One of the most distinctive aspects of Cal Poly freshman life is juggling coursework with late-night excursions. Students come up with creative ways to make the most of their evenings, whether it's going out to eat after a long study session, discovering hidden school traditions, or taking in the local nightlife.   For many, late-night eats are a highlight. “My favorite spot is Finney’s. I always order the tri-tip sandwich and seasoned fries; it’s just a great place to go with friends,” Madison Hendley, 1st year plant science major. Others rave about SloDoCo’s 24/7 donut selection, perfect for a midnight snack.  Whatever the activity, freshmen are making every night count.  Check out this video about freshman late-night activities.
